Willie Mae Smithart

Willie Mae Smithart passed away on September 23, 2011 at the Arizona Pioneers Home in Prescott. Willie was born on January 24, 1924 in Houston, TX and lived in Arizona most of her adult life. She is survived by her husband James (Jim); her sons Byron Metcalf and Robert Metcalf; daughter-in-law Shawn Cardinal; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Willie is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward; and sister, Ocolona. Willie was an active member of the LDS Church and her entire life was devoted to helping others in any way that she could. She was known by her family and friends as a loving and generous soul, committed to living a life of service for the good of mankind and the earth.

Cemetery:
The Grave Dedication will follow at the Arizona Pioneer Home Cemetery on Iron Springs Road.

Service:
Celebration of Willie's life will be 11:00 a.m. Thrursday, September 29 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1001 Ruth Street with visitation a half hour prior in the Relief Society Room.
