William John Smith

In Loving Memory of Wm John Smith who entered this life September 30, 1932 in Jackson Michigan, and Entered into life eternal August 18, 2011 in Prescott, AZ.
He leaves his wife, Sharon and three daughters, Johnette Shank, Linda Miller and, Laura (Dale) Robinson. He also leaves seven grandchildren, Jeanine, Sandra, Christine, John, Adam, Aaron, and Daniel. There are also eight great grandchildren.
John was born to Herbert and Elizabeth Smith. He was the middle child with three sisters, Ellen Blair, deceased, Dorothy (Wayne) Chelf, Betty (Bill) Prin and Herbert Bud Smith.
He attended schools in Iselin, New Jersey and graduated Vandercook Lake High School in Vandercook Lake, Michigan. He proudly served the Army from 1953-1955 in the Korean War as a Military Policeman. He married Sharon while on leave June 11, 1953. After completing his service he entered electrical apprenticeship which started a long and successful career working in residential, commercial, industrial and other areas of the electrical trade.
He enjoyed family, church, softball playing and watching the Diamondbacks. He always enjoyed family vacation trips, the senior trips and built most of his own home. He is the family rock in his quiet, strong, peaceful, protective, patient and dependable way. His Godly wisdom will be greatly missed.

Service:
A Celebration of William\'s Life will take place at 11:00a.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the Fountain of Life Community Church, 3160 North Lynx Lake Drive. Prescott Valley, Arizona
