In Loving Memory of William John Felten
Bill, a hardworking and devoted father, passed away February 18th, 2025 at the age of 67. A man of strength, integrity, and simple joys, he spent his life building not just structures, but a strong foundation for his daughter whom he raised on his own with unwavering love and dedication.
A true craftsman in the construction industry, he was known for his reliability and his ability to always get the job done right. But beyond his career, he was a man who cherished life’s little pleasures—an ice-cold beer, a good glass of whiskey, the sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd on the radio, and the thrill of catching a wave. He had a deep love for the Wild West, never passing up a John Wayne movie, and he carried that same grit and independence in his own life.
Born in Faribault, MN to Helen and Donald Felten he yearned for the golden California lifestyle and spent his happiest youthful years near Huntington Beach, CA where the ocean was always within reach. In his final years of life, he was lovingly cared for by his daughter while he battled cancer treatments in Dewey, AZ. Together they shared the companionship of Kilo, a dog he absolutely adored. His presence was steady, his love was constant, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
He is survived by his sister Ann Felten and daughter Katie Felten. In honor of his love for a good time, some rock ‘n’ roll, and the simple things in life, we will celebrate his memory in a way that would make him smile.
Rest easy, Dad. Your legacy of love, strength, and freedom will never be forgotten.
