William (Bill) David Saulter, 81, of Prescott Valley, AZ passed away on March 8, 2024.  Bill was born in Salisbury, Missouri on December 5, 1942, to Woodrow and Eva Saulter.

Bill served our country in the United States Air Force where he was a jet mechanic. After his honorable discharge, he entered law enforcement where he worked his way up to become an Arizona Highway Patrol Lieutenant and District Commander. Bill was passionate about Harley-Davidson’s and often compared himself to them as they were “Built to Last and Outlast”.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his sister, Jenny Lemke (Bob) and brother, Billy E. Saulter; stepson, Erik Baile and stepdaughters, Kim Zaviski and Theresia Baile; and his four grandchildren, Philip Saulter (Shaunna), Adam Saulter, Ashley Brantley (Jared) and Haley Saulter. Bill was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren, Keira (19), Ethan (17), Taylor (15), Maci (11), Benjamin (10), Colton (8), Behr (5), and HannahGrace (4); as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Eva Saulter; sister, Shirley Bradshaw and brother, Albert Saulter; and his three sons, William Saulter, Todd Saulter and Doug Saulter.

Though Bill will be dearly missed by his family and friends, we celebrate his life and know that he is finally riding alongside his beloved sons with a smile across his face.
