William 'Bill' Joseph Mueller

William J. (Bill) Mueller, 85, completed his journey home Aug 19, 2011. He was born in Meyer, IA. to Nicholas and Rachel Mueller. He was the beloved brother of six brothers and four sisters, devoted father to his three daughters, cherished grandfather of three grandsons and one granddaughter, and totally enamored of his four great-grandsons. He was a favorite uncle to his 14 nieces and nephews.
Bill Mueller served honorably for 2 years in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific theatre during WWII. He then embarked on his 45 year career as a renowned chef for which he never lost his passion or imagination.
He is survived by his brothers, Paul (Ann) Mueller of Chicago, IL, Reynold Mueller of Des Moines, IA,., and sister-in-law Louise Mueller of Irving, TX. Daughters Stephanie (Dean) Bragg from Prescott, AZ, and Rebecca Roberts, of Des Moines, IA. Grand-children Larry Fales of Elkhart, IN, and William Fales of Des Moines, IA., Karen (Purnell) John, and Christopher (Shea) Bragg, all from Prescott, AZ. Great-grandsons Blake Fales of Elkhart, IN, Nickolas Bragg, Cameron and Carter John, all of Prescott, AZ.

Memorial service will be held Sept. 24, 2011, in Meyer, IA at the Sacred Heart Oratory, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery in Riceville, IA.
