William "Bill" Allen Rodger

William “Bill” Allen Rodger, a loving husband, father, and grandfather died peacefully on Sunday, October 28 in his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was 90. Bill was born in Detroit to Florence and Robert Rodger on July 17, 1928. Bill had two sisters, Marjorie Shepherd and Donna Berry, who are deceased. Bill attended the University of Michigan where he graduated with a degree in civil engineering.  Bill had a long and successful career with the engineering manufacturing company Ameron and he retired in 1989. Bill was an avid golfer and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of the hiking club in Prescott and explored many of the national parks during summer camping trips.  Bill is survived by his wife, Peggy; her three children, Zack, Lisa, and Jason; his three children, Barbara, Bruce, and Betty; his five grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott.
