Warren Lyle Williams of Illinois and Arizona died January 28, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Prescott, Arizona after a brief two week undiagnosed infection. He was born near Modesto, Illinois on October 15, 1935 to Ralph and Lucille Best Williams where three generations of the Coots Family were born. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; two daughters, Linda (Michael) Jackson of Payson, Arizona and their two sons, Caleb and Colton; Lana (Mike) Kirkeeng of Prescott Valley, Arizona and their three sons, Jacob (Taryn), Tyler and Jesse; one son, Gary (Heather) Williams of Indianola, Iowa, and their three daughters, Danielle, Julia and Morgan; great granddaughter Brody Lynn Kirkeeng; sister, Kathryn (Don) Connolly of Modesto, Illinois; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marilyn Williams.
Warrens passions were his Faith, Family, Friends, anything outdoors and traveling 49 states (remembering almost everything about each state). After graduation he farmed until serving in the Army 1955-1957. After returning from the military he farmed near Modesto (his Grandparents Best Farm) and worked as a carpenter until he purchased Williams Equipment Co. in 1966. For health reasons, he and family moved to Arizona in 1974. While there he worked for Roberts Tractor Co., J I CASE Construction Division, Swift Transportation and Bashas Food. Besides his family, in his leisure time he kept busy tinkering as a mechanic, building something, etc.
He retired in 1991, 1993, 1996, 2000 and his final retirement to Heaven in 2011. He is loved by his family and will always be remembered in many ways. Family and Friends are invited to a Celebration of Warren's Life, which will be held on Fathers Day at the families Timber Property in Illinois.
