Ward Roberts

Ward Herschel Roberts August 7, 1932 – April 10, 2018 

Ward was born in Tennessee on August 7, 1932 to Mark H. Roberts and Agnes Lorene Shanks.   

He had two siblings, a sister, Bernice Ashley passed away many years ago and his brother, Mark Roberts who lives in California.  

 Ward was married to Laneta Roberts for many years and has three children, Daughter Sue Pardo, Daughter Kathy (Bob) Gaunt and a son, Randy Roberts.  They moved from Luxora, Arkansas to Rainbow Valley, Arizona in 1972 and lived there until moving to Prescott in 1984.  Ward was a fantastic gardener and novice mechanic who loved to smoke a pipe at the end of a long day working as an Electrician.  Ward moved to the Pioneer Home in Prescott thirteen years ago where he continued his passion for gardening and took up Bingo.  A very social man, he will be missed by many who loved his charismatic smile and hearty laugh. 

He was loved by his five grandchildren, Mary, Christy, Robin, Rebecca and Chad, as well as his nine great-grandchildren, Ashley, Abigail, Devin, Autumn, Tristin, Kyra, Addison, Kate and Stella and three great-great-grandchild Mayson, Aiden and Daphne.
