Virginia 'Ginni' Stobie

Virginia “Ginni” Stobie, died October 20, 2014 at her home in Prescott, Arizona. She was born September 25, 1939 in Warren, Ohio; the daughter of Dwight and Anna (Wasson) Hefner. Ginni and her husband Jack, built their retirement home in Yavapai Hills prior to retiring. The day after Ginni retired after 32 years with Douglas Aircraft Co, McDonald Douglas and Boeing they moved to Prescott, in 1999. Ginni became a very active member of the Ameican Legion Post 6 Auxilary. She loved to traveled and they took three cruisies and would spend two weeks twice a year at their favorite camp ground in Lake Havasu. Many of these trips they were accompanied by friends they met at the Legion. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Family Care for their compassion and support during her last days. Ginni is survived by the love of her life, husband, Jack and brothers, James (Mary) Hefner of Sparks, NV and Thomas Hefner of Los Angeles, CA. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Saylor.
