Verda Mae Morris

Verda Mae Morris passed away December 6, 2021, in Prescott Valley, Arizona. She was born September 1, 1929, to George E. Wendt and Della J. Wendt in Brooks, Montana.

Verda Mae is survived by her son, David Landru and her daughter, Pennie Wood (Randy). Her 3 grandchildren, Robyn Frame (Kyle), Rusty and Ramsey Wood. Her 3 great grandchildren, Grant, Chloe, and Nolan Frame. She was predeceased by her sons, Alan Landru and Kenneth Morris.

She worked alongside her husband Charlie on her parent’s ranch in Brooks, MT for 13 years before Charlie’s health issues required a move to Scottsdale, AZ. They moved to Prescott, on Walker Mountain in 1980. She loved her mountain home and fed the birds and grew beautiful flowers. She loved to be outside and walked all over that mountain. She moved to Prescott Valley in 2012. She lived a long and wonderful life. A memorial will be scheduled later.
