Terry Gene Turner

Terry Gene Turner (TG as he was known to family and friends)) was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. He was 81 years old.

Terry was born on June 25, 1940 in Long Beach, California. His parents were Ralph and Berniece Turner. He attended schools in Long Beach and received his General Building Contractor License in 1971 and went into business with his older brother, Ralph. He retired to Prescott in 1998.

Terry is survived by his wife, Janice, son and daughter-in-law Mark and Kelli Turner of Lake Forest, CA son John Turner of Foothill Ranch, CA, daughters Stephanie Samuel of Mission Viejo, CA, and Teresa Turner of Escondido, CA, son and daughter-in-law William and Kimberly Rowlen of Fairway, KS, daughter Jane Rowlen of Escondido, CA; grandchildren Kimberly Weed, Michael Turner, Paige Turner-Witherby, Shaun Turner, Kyle, Stephen, Blake and Grace Rowlen: great grandchildren Kaden and Reagan Weed, Andie Marie and Noah Dean Turner. Terry is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Linda and Dean Welin, brother and sister-in-law DK and Laura Turner. Terry was preceded in death by his older brothers Deane and Ralph Turner.

Terry was an active member of First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ until his health prohibited his volunteer work.

He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed building so much that he remodeled his home in Prescott three times.

Terry was always eager and willing to help others in whatever way he could and he was very generous with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
