In Loving Memory Teodulo Ortega Bautista 1936-2021

Teodulo Ortega Bautista was granted his angel wings on August 1, 2021.  His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Teo had inspired in some way throughout his very memorable life.

Teo’s life seemed too short, but those who were moved by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His gentle smile and infectious laugh brought so much joy to everyone he met.

His gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of how precious life is.  He loved to spend time with his great grandchildren. He enjoyed music, telling stories, and catching up with friends and family on Facebook.  He was a very active member in the Catholic Church both in Tabasco, Zacatecas and Prescott, AZ. He played the organ and sang for the Catholic Church and he was a member of the Spanish Legion of Mary in Prescott. In the 70’s and 80’s, Teo had a radio show on the local station in Prescott.  He always made sure to provide for his family including his loved ones in Mexico.  He will be greatly missed.

Teodulo is survived by his daughter Laura Briseno and her husband John, daughter Elena Martinez and her husband Martin, son Teodulo A. Ortega and his wife Fayleen, son Luis Ortega and his late wife Anne, son Juan Ortega, son Jorge Ortega, daughter Anna M. Diaz and her husband Jerry; Ex-wife Anna, 25 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Sotero Ortega and Concepcion Ortega, brothers and sisters, and 3 grandchildren. Services will be held on 8/12/2021 at: Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish150 Fleury StPrescott, AZ 86301 Rosary 10:30 amMass 11:00 am Celebration of life to follow 148 S Virginia St, Prescott, AZ 86303.
