Ted W. Grimm, 87, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2012 in Prescott, AZ. Born January 20, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of John H. Grimm and Susan Albee Grimm. After serving in the World War II, he married Betty G. Wetherbee on July 21, 1947. They resided in Illinois until December 1967 when the family moved to Prescott, Arizona. Ted and Betty spent several years in the Prescott area before moving to Yuma for many years, only to return to Prescott. He did a variety of different jobs, including traveling salesman. He was self-taught in heating and air conditioning and owned his own business in Illinois. He also enjoyed managing a Bowling Alley in both Illinois and Prescott, Arizona. After moving to Arizona, he became very active in the Loyal Order of Moose. He was also a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, woodworking, skeet shooting and traveling in their RV. During his retirement years he traveled whenever he could. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty, one (1) brother and five (5) sisters. Surviving children are: Bill (Debbie), Pat (Danny), Jack (Kathy). He has eight (8) grandchildren and seven (7) great-grandchildren. A private cremation was held at the Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. Ted and his loving wife will rest in the columbarium at the Prescott National Cemetery, Memorial services are pending.
