Ted Nebeker left this world for better pastures peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of February 1st, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Ted was born on December 17, 1916 to W.C. Nebeker and Dora (Fillmore) Nebeker in Filer, Idaho. They moved to Twin Falls where Ted grew up to be a fine farmer and raised registered cattle and horses. On February 4, 1942 he married the love of is life, Eva Jeanne Hansing, and had one son, Bill Joe Nebeker. The young family moved to Prescott, AZ in 1953 - made many friends while they owned & operated several successful businesses. Ted was very proud of being a longtime member of the Smoki People, Kiwanis, Yavapai County Fair Board and Yavapai Jeep Posse. His first love was always his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and was so proud of all his family. He was able to ride his horses well into his 80's, and enjoyed many hunting and fishing trips with his family & friends. Ted also loved to garden, and his rose, iris & vegetable gardens brought beauty and joy to everyone who saw them. He will be greatly missed. Ted was peceded in death by his parents, two brother, (Clyde & Von), and two sisters, (Pat & Madge). Ted is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eva Jeanne Nebeker, his son Bill (Merry) Neberker, three granchildren: Travis William (Sara) Nebeker; Heather Marie Davis & her husband Sean; Jeanne Renne' Hilderbrand and her husband Jeremy. Six great-grandchildren; Arden William & Gavin Lawrence Nebeker; Mishon Marie & Macy Lynn Davis: and Violet Katherine Hilderbrand, as well as several nieces and nephews. Thtoughout his life there were dozens of extended family & friends who considered him Grandpa Ted. Thanks for a wonderful life. Go in peace Dad, and may God Bless you.
