Sylvia J. Schlotterbeck

Sylvia Schlotterbeck, 84, of Prescott, AZ, passed away on June 24, 2023. She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by family. She was born on March 3,1939, in Torrance, CA, to Carroll Henry Hefington and Gladys Violet Medean. Sylvia married George Schlotterbeck, who preceded her in death in 2016.

Sylvia retired from Toyota Motor Sales Headquarters as a manager in the Customs Department in 2002, after many years of dedication.

Sylvia is survived by two daughters, Christi Padgett and Britt Moore; sons-in-law, Kenny Padgett and Aaron Moore; six grandchildren, Zachary, Allison, Benjamin, Cameron, Cayden, Dayna; one great-granddaughter, Axelia; and also her sister, Lynne Downhour.

Sylvia loved music and was a talented singer. She adored her grandchildren and spending time with all of them. She felt privileged to be able to live with her oldest grandson, Zachary. She loved laughing with friends and vacationing to Hawaii with her husband George. But her greatest joy was cooking and hosting wonderful dinner parties.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
