Susan Marie Bring

Our Sweet Loving Wife, Mother, Nana, Sister and Friend Susan Marie Bring has been called home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 11, 2011. She was a fighter to the end after suffering a massive heart attack, and having received the Heartmate II heart pump in August 2009. She overcame every odd given to her and spent her precious last years in the loving care of her eternal companion, husband Harold Bring.
Susan was born November 29, 1946 Phoenix AZ and graduated from Mayer High School in 1964. After graduation she moved to Prescott where she met & married her sweetheart Harold in September 1966 in the Mesa Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Together they raised 7 children and spoiled 13 grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Harold and children, Brigitte Bourget (Brandi & Josh Heltzel) of Phoenix, Cody Bring (Jacob) of Phoenix, Brita Lange (Dave, Dakota, Demi, Denae, Dawson, Dayton) of Colorado Springs, CO, Tiffany Flannery (Paul, Kayla ,Beau, Kyle) of Paulden, De Anna Schuh (Christopher) of Lamoille, NV, Carl Bring (Tanya, Marilyn) of Sedona, Courtney Bring-Legler (Riley & Madison Legler) of Chino Valley, Brother Jim Minnis of Canon City, CO and sister Karen Carlson (Bob) of Lindsborg KS. Mother-in-law Dona Bring of Cottonwood, Brother-in-law Richard Bring (Sue) of Cottonwood, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Her husband, children, grandchildren and animals were her life. She always had many dogs and cats, making up for not being allowed to have them as a child. Her first pet was a Quarter-horse named Tammy that she loved to ride and she taught all her children to ride on Tammy. She left behind two beautiful horses, Checkers and Durango that she enjoyed riding up until her illness, but still enjoyed seeing them every day.
She devoted her time and most importantly her heart to everyone she came in contact with. She spent many years doing child care in home for school teachers, Susie as the kids called her all loved her dearly and most of them she watched from newborn till they started kindergarten, and then even after school. All of these kids enjoyed her home made chocolate chip cookies or fresh cinnamon rolls several times each week. She enjoyed the volunteer work she did for the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Queen Committee. Susan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in the Primary and Relief Society Presidencies, as well as supporting her husband while he served as Bishop of the Chino Valley Ward.
She was the grateful recipient of many blessings and miracles during her illness that allowed her to stay with us longer than her doctors ever expected. Many wonderful and faithful people all around the world prayed for her and those prayers were literally answered and fulfilled many times. The Lord truly does live and wants to bless his children through their faithfulness.
We know she is happy to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to be back in the presence of her parents, Her Aunt Pearl, Grandparents and other loved ones, not the least of which is her father-in-law, Grandpa Leon Bring. And we bet she has already taken a horse back ride on Tammy.
