Stewart Stu Rooth

Stewart "Stu" Rooth died October 14, 2006 at his residence in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  He was born December 20, 1942 in Lindsborg, Kansas; the son of Harold and Twila (Lovall) Rooth.  Stu was 63 years old. Stu moved to the Prescott area 24 years ago from Pennsylvania.  Stu prided himself as a dynamic educator, he taught Economics and Finance at both Yavapai College and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.  He was a beloved member of the Elks Lodge #330 in Prescott Valley.  Stu was an avid collector of antiques, guns and coins.  He was a fine craftsman of woodworking, guns and HO trains.  Stu enjoyed cooking, hospitality and laughing with others and will be missed by ALL. Stu is survived by his children, Jill and Brian Rooth; his mother, Twila Zaragoza and his former wife, Rose Marie, of 36 years.
