Selma Miriam Hasler

1913-2010 After 97 years, Selma Hasler left the presents of this earth to her eternal rest on Thursday October 14Th. Born to the late Grover G. and Celoria Morgan in
Phoenix ,AZ. Her mother died from complications of her birth and was raised by her earth-mother, Florence Morgan, who Grover married the following year. She had two step-brothers from that union, Lem E. and Wallace, who after becoming adults
became co-owners of the G.G. Morgan Printing Co. in Phoenix. Both preceded her in death. In 1931, she married the late James B. Hasler whose family were Arizona Pioneers from Tombstone, Bisbee, and later on Phoenix. Selma was a housewife most all of her married life moving sometimes yearly to the many constructions jobs in CA and AZ while her husband was working on for his brother's construction company Pleasant & Hasler. In 1943 she graduated as a Nurse's Aid volunteering her time in the Kingman Hospital. After the war, Jim and Selma started Hasler Trucking Co. and while living in
Bakersfield, CA.,Selma became a member of Eastern Star, and became President of the Order of DeMolay Mothers Club. Jim and Selma retired to Bullhead City, AZ in 1971 where Selma became President of the Elk Ladies and then made their final move to Prescott, AZ in 1981. This is not an obituary only to Selma, but to her life which was
her entire family. She is survived by her son Skip and (Sandy)Hasler of Santa Clarita, CA., her grandchildren David and (Sue)Hasler Of Santa Clarita, CA., Ronald and (Connie)Hasler of Mesa, AZ., Debbie and (Chris)Ward of Tueson, AZ., her great-grandchildren David Hasler, Jr., Christina Hasler, Jason Hasler, Sarah Hasler, Mikaela
Ward, and great-great grandchild Trevor Hasler.
Private grave side service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cementery in Phoenix.
