Ruth Richmond Smith

Ruth died Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Good Samaritan in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  She was born January 25, 1923 in Safford, Arizona; the daughter of Milnor and Bertha (Aldrich) Richmond.  Ruth was 87 years old. She was a homemaker raising two boys and taking care of her husband.  She was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church and enjoyed the challenge of playing Scrabble.  Ruth adored her two dogs, "Dexter" and "Romeo". She is survived by her sons; Rocky Smith of Prescott Valley, AZ., and Bill Smith of Huntington Beach, CA., grandchildren; Darin and Kimberly, and great grandson Avery.  Ruth is preceded in death by her grandson David Smith. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Ruth's name to the hospice of their choice.
