Ruby Alice Jaime

Ruby Alice Jaime (Gonzalez), born September 5, 1944, in Prescott, AZ passed away July 16, 2024, peacefully at home in Prescott Valley with family by her side. She was 79.

 A proud Native Prescottonian, she first attended St Joseph’s Academy and later graduated from Prescott High School in 1963. Her first job as a “Soda Jerk” at the old Eagle Drug on Gurley Street laid the foundation of a career serving and providing for others. She raised three boys with her husband and eventually retired as a service worker from the VA in Prescott in 2003 after 30 years of making friends and memories.

 Ruby is survived by her husband, David Jaime; sons, Danny (Thea), Carlos (Donna), and David Jr. (Becky); four grandchildren: Jordan, Aidan, David III, and Ava. She is also survived by her sister, Annie Sanchez of Safford; brother, Michael Gonzalez (Sandra) of San Manuel; and countless nieces and nephews.

 A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, August 2, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott, preceded by a 10:30 AM Rosary.
