Roy Henderson

Roy “Lefty” Henderson went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2024, surrounded by family.

Lefty is survived by wife of 75 years, Carol; daughters, Kathy Boyd and Alison (Rick) Hernandez; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great- grandchild. He was preceded in death by son, Bruce; and grandson, Ryan Boyd.

Lefty was born in Whittier, CA to Roy and Lela Henderson. He lived in Whittier until 1989 when he and Carol moved to Prescott, AZ. After graduation from Whittier HS, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was a very proud Veteran. After the Navy, he went to work for SoCal Edison as a lineman and was with Edison for 35 years. Lefty loved camping, fishing, being in the sun and vacationing in Hawaii. He is remembered as a good man with a funny sense of humor. He is greatly missed by family and friends.
