Ronald Steven Meyers

Ronald S. Meyers, age 67, of Prescott Valley Arizona, previously of Maple Shade, NJ, passed unexpectedly on January 6. Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years Eileen, his son Steven of Los Angeles, CA, and his brother Lee (wife Debbie) of Moorestown, NJ.

Ron's early career as a Physical Therapy Assistant helped him develop the skills and compassion which he later used in his role as a Permanent Deacon at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in Maple Shade, NJ where he served in many ministry roles through his 24 years of active service. Ron and Eileen retired to Arizona where Ron was pursuing incardination into the Diocese of Phoenix.

Ron enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his son, wine tasting and playing games with friends. "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" were two of his favorite musicals. He would sing them in the house and knew all the songs by heart. He was forever the caretaker of family members and always had time to visit with and listen to anyone who needed care and support. He will be missed by many.

Services will be on Friday, January 17, 2025, at St. Germaine Church in Prescott Valley, Az. A rosary will be recited at 10:30, Mass at 11:00with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul society.
