Rodney Masterman

Rodney Masterman, age 86, died at home on April 10, 2012. Rod, who was born and raised in Colorado, enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and served during World War II. Upon his honorable discharge, he attended Arizona State University where he earned both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Education degree. He went on the teach for many years, and eventually finished his career serving as a school administrator. Rod was married to Suzanne Furnas Masterman for 55 years when she passed away in 2004. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his children Rick Masterman (Paula), Pamela James (Richard), Gregory Masterman (Martha) and Karen Torkelson (Timothy); 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 11 am at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Prescott, where Rod and Suzanne were active members, and where Rod loved to help maintain the landscape and gardens.
