Robert Mendoza Celaya, Sr., age 41, of Dewey, AZ, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, in Prescott Valley, AZ. He was born on March 20, 1970 in Santa Clara, CA to William D. and Evangelina (Mendoza) Celaya. Robert graduated from high school and later married Yanida Perez on August 13, 1988. Robert is survived by his children, Robert Alex Celaya, Jr. of Prescott Valley, AZ, Angelina C. Celaya of San Juan Bautista, CA, Valerie P. Celaya of Prescott Valley, AZ, Jose M. Celaya of Dewey, AZ, Gabriel A. Celaya of Dewey, AZ, and a granddaughter, Heather Alaura Celaya, mother, Evangelina M. Rosaries. Robert was preceded in death by his father. Robert was a painter most of his life and was self-employed at the time of his death. He enjoyed being a father and grandfather and spending time with his family. There will be no public services.
