Robert Clayton Botkin was born June 19, 1960 in Miami, Arizona and died from a short battle of Esophageal cancer that spread to his liver on March 21, 2011. Clay was a true Arizonian and moved from the valley of the sun to the cool country of Prescott in 1999. Clay got his AA of Electronics Technology from High Tech Institute of Technology which allowed him to be open and operate his own business for years. Clay bought his home in Prescott, Arizona where he created a life for him and his daughter Alycia. Clay was a man of many skills and he shared those skills with his daughter and his friends any chance that he could. Extremely liked by all Clay had friends everywhere he went and always made new ones. Clay helped any family member or friend he could he was a very generous man. He had a passion for motorcycles that was passed on to him from his father and he passed that love onto his daughter. Clays greatest joy was being a single dad, and when he passed he was just as proud to be a new grandpa. His loyalty and compassion will be remembered by all. He is survived by his mother Cecelia Botkin and her husband Robert Marcus. His sister Lisa Botkin and her children Kaila and Avery and his daughter Alycia Botkin and his grandson Paul Clayton Botkin along with many family and friends.

Celebration of Clay's life will be at 1pm Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel, 8480 E. Valley Rd, Corner of Navajo and Valley, Prescott Valley
