Richard Lee Kessler

Richard Lee Kessler, 76, of Prescott Valley, Arizona passed away Sunday August 19, 2018 in Prescott, Arizona.Richard was born on November 24, 1941 in Sioux City, IA. He was a member of Local 231 Electrical Union for 55 years. In 1983 he moved to Las Vegas, NV and worked for the Clark County School District as an electrical supervisor until he retired in 2002.He loved to work with wood and on his cars, which he loved and had many beautiful ones.He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharyl Kessler of Prescott Valley, AZ. Sons, Troy Kessler of Las Vegas, NV and Richard Schwinden of Roseville, MN. Sister, Debra Kessler and husband Nick of Minton, MA. Brother, Robert Kessler and Wife, Rose of Las Vegas, NV. Aunt Phyllis Grubel and husband, Richard of Omaha, NE.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Kessler.Richard donated his body to Science Care. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at St. Germaine's Catholic Church 7997 E. Dana Drive, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314. Graveside 12:30 PM at Heritage Memorial Park 12000 E. Heritage Memorial Lane, Dewey, AZ 86327. Lunch to follow at the Kessler Residence 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
