Richard C. Shilvock

Richard C. Shilvock,
82, born January 10, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, to Stanley and Lillian
Shilvock.

Richard died peacefully in his sleep on April 23, 2017 in Prescott,
Arizona.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles.

Richard is survived by his wife Barbara with whom he spent 59 years and 10
months.  Son, Jerry Shilvock of Iowa, daughters, Laurie (Mike) Havird of
Mesa, AZ and Kristi Hudson of Peoria, AZ, and 11 grandchildren.

Today we raise a glass to those who knew him.  Dick was in the broadcasting/telecast
industry from 1952-2009 and witnessed many innovations during that time.
During that 57 year period, he broadcasted in Wyoming, Colorado, and South
Dakota.  He moved to Prescott, AZ in 2010, after spending 48 years in the
beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.  Dick was known for his witty humor
and his enthusiastic energy and undeniable charm.  He had a passion for
sports, antiques, carousel horses, and devoted his time to his search for
Indian pottery and history in general.  He will forever be remembered for
his love of the outdoors, in which he was always the fastest walker/hiker on the
golf course and mountain, no matter who was accompanying him.  His young
at-heart energy and broadcast voice will be greatly missed.  His final
days were spent devoting his time to his grandchildren and their endeavors as
well as playing a round or two of golf.  Per his request, no services will be held.
