Raymond Herbert Wood

Raymond Herbert Wood passed away unexpectedly on September 28, 2023, at his home in Prescott, Arizona. Ray was born on October 31, 1957, to Rose (Rosie) and Alfred (Eddie) Wood in Cleveland, Ohio. Ray grew up in Claremont, California before moving to Prescott, Arizona in 1993. Ray started out his professional career working as a machinist before he went on to become a house painter. Ray continued to work as a house painter until he retired in 2020. In his free time, he enjoyed racing RC cars, fishing, golfing, and eating lots of sushi. He is survived by his wife Suzanne, mother Rosie, brother Ron (Sheri), sister Debbie, niece Holly, great-nephews Jadon and Logan, dog Magoo, and many other cherished relatives and beloved friends that are left to carry on without him. Ray’s memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all his family and friends whose lives he profoundly impacted. His smile, kindness, amazing personality, and sense of humor will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be held for Ray on October 21, 2023, at 12pm at 1435 N Suomi Dr, Prescott, AZ, 86303
