Ralph Anthony Nove passed into the Lord Jesus's hands on January 19, 2016 at the age of 92. He was a WWII Marine and a Purple Heart recipient from President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Ralph was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 27, 1923. It was there that he met and married the love of his life Rose Mary (nee Seely). They were married for over 70 years.
He is survived by his wife and five of his six children: JoAnn Whelan, Robert Nove, Lynn Consolmagno, Janet Troth, and Mary Ann Osborne. Ralph's youngest child, Elaine Margaret Nove, died in 1999 at the age of 39. He also has five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Ralph and Rose Mary moved to Prescott in 1976 to help in the developing of Yavapai Hills and have loved living here for the past 40 years.
Ralph was a wonderful husband and father. Although he was the quiet one, we always knew "He was the wind beneath our wings."
