Phyllis Dale

Phyllis Mary Rugh Dale, loving wife and mother of six children, went to Heaven at the age of 91 on Friday, August 7, 2020.  Phyllis was born on October 20, 1928 in Walnut Grove, Minnesota.  She attended college in Mankato. Along with her family, Phyllis moved to Prescott, AZ in 1961.  Her work experience began at Solts Clothing Store.  She enjoyed her position there. She also worked ten years at the Yavapai County Court House.  Her dream jobs were working fourteen years in the National Parks to include, Glacier, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore and Grand Canyon.  Phyllis loved attending her church, hiking, writing poetry, painting, travel, and fishing.  She was known for her great adventure stories and her love of life.Phyllis was predeceased by her parents and three siblings.  She is survived by her loving husband Don Dale, four daughters; Sandra (George) Stazenski, Joann Johnson, Jeann (Peter) Guy, Patricia Barrett, two sons; Tom (Sally) Torkelson, Tim (Karen) Torkelson, her brother Paul Haensel, her Sister Sharon Maggio, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  Phyllis loved her family and Prescott.  She knew no strangers and loved all people. She will be greatly missed.
