Phillip Earl Greer

Phillip E. Greer, 99, of Prescott, AZ, passed away on October 6th, 2015.  He was born in Los Angeles, CA., March 7th, 1916 to Peyton and Emilia Greer.

Phillip is survived by his Son Earl (Jacqueline) Greer of Prescott, AZ, Grandchildren, Earl (Lori) and Marie (Doug), Great-Grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Cassandra (Michael), Devon (Kristi), Heather, and Ian, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Paisley, Owen, Hayes, and Noah.  He is preceded in death by his loving wife June, his parents, Son Donald, and Granddaughter Virginia. 

He was very proud of his marriage of 78 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching them form families of their own. Phillip will be missed by his friends and family. He was an avid gardener. He was very proud of his garden and could make anything grow. Phillip was a wonderful host and loved entertaining and seeing to his guests needs. June and Phil loved to R.V and took many trips especially to California with June behind the wheel.  

A Graveside service is to be held at Arizona Pioneer's Home Cemetery on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 with Visitation from 11:00 to 11:30, Service at 11:30. His Ashes will be placed with in June's Bruial Site so that they will be together forever.  In Lieu of flowers please make donations in Phillip's name to Alzheimer's Association, Northern Arizona Chapter, 225 Grove Ave., Prescott, AZ 86301 or Hospice Family Care, 3195 Stillwater Dr., Prescott, AZ 86305.
