Philip A. Seese

Philip A. Seese, 77, son of the late Levi & Esther Seese of Souderton, PA, passed away March 6, 2014. He was ill and inactive for some time and was diagnosed with ALS a short time before his death. He grew up in Souderton, PA and graduated from Elizabethtown Town College where he played short stop for the E-Town Blue Jay’s baseball team. He came to Arizona for graduate work and earned a Master’s Degree in Chemistry in 1958. He never left Arizona. Phil was an engineer at Motorola for over 30 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed the sports program that Motorola Recreation offered. While he enjoyed a variety of sports, golf was the winner. He made many lasting friendships through work and recreation. He attended Historic First Presbyterian Church in Phoenix for many years. He is survived by his wife Roberta (Bobbie), his son Blake (Teresa), 2 granddaughters Chelsea (Matt) Sambuchi and Calah Seese, and 1 great-granddaughter Ari Sambuchi.
