Peggy Moore-Rodger, passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 87. Peggy was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan to parents Norman and Beatrice Proctor, and had 9 siblings. Peggy was Miss Michigan in the late 1940’s, where she met her future husband Robert Lundberg and they married in 1952. They lived in various places while Robert served as a First Lieutenant in the Army, but eventually settled in the Lansing, MI area. Peggy owned and operated hair salons in Lansing and Okemos. They had 3 children; Zack, Lisa and Jason. After her husband passed away in 1980, Peggy and her children moved to California. Peggy married Bob Moore and they were together until his passing in 2000. During this time Peggy went back to school and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling. She worked as a Counselor and Substance Abuse Specialist, until she retired and moved to Prescott, Arizona in 2004. At the age of 80, Peggy met and married William Rodger and they lived in Prescott until his passing in October 2018. Peggy is survived by her 3 children; Zack and Jason Lundberg, Lisa Vandehey, 4 grandchildren; Dustin Lundberg, Coleton Hammett, Dillon and JJ Lundberg, 3 great-grandchildren, and her sister; Joline McCarty. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Ruffner-Wakelin Prescott Chapel located at 303 S. Cortez St. Prescott, AZ 86303.
