Patricia Ruth Norgard

Patricia died on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at New Horizons in Chino Valley, Arizona. Born on August 15, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ruby Givens. She was 83 years old. Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Gene; children, Toni (Jim) Purtill of Henderson, NV and Lori (Shawn) Sorenson of Redmond, WA; step-children, Betty LaVoie of Chino Valley, AZ, Dan (Gini) Norgard of Prescott Valley, AZ and Cindy (Mark) Stewart of Alhambra, CA; grandchildren, Mike (Tiffany) Purtill; Sean (Sheri) Purtill, Jonathan Purtill, Kim (Mike) Faust and Matthew Sorenson and great-grandchildren, Audrey, Brooke and Brady. Pat was a regular at POPS Music Store in Prescott, playing the organ and piano. She loved her family, children, friends, dogs, music (especially Frank Sinatra), sewing and playing slot machines. She never knew a stranger~they were all friends. Pat looked for the best in everyone and every situation.
