Patricia Irene Andrus

Patricia Irene Andrus, of Prescott, AZ passed away on May 07, 2017. She was born to Forest and Lillas Carpenter in Massachusetts on March 17, 1925. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Vida and Esther, husband Berhram “Jesse” Andrus, son Steven Andrus, daughter-in-law Diane Andrus and great grandson Riddick. Patricia is survived by her daughters Althea (John) Haynes and Susan (Mark) Whiteners, 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 22 great great grandchildren, and two sisters Ruth Marston and Althea Maynard. She worked for the Social Security Administration, and the Forest Service "occasionally" running base camps at forest fires. Patricia loved camping with her husband and family and tried to camp as often as possible. Patricia spent the last 10 years as a resident of Prescott Samaritan Village. She loved living at the Village and lovingly called herself a “lifer”. Patricia’s family would like to extend their great thanks to Prescott Samaritan Village for their love and care over her many years, to the Grandchildren who kept mom loved and smiling, Rhonda Smith, Brenda Wallace Schelldorf and Sharon Andrus Felker and all their children for many Sunday Fundays of her life. Grandchildren David Andrus, Will Adams, Shawn Weaver Sr and Kevin Weaver were farther away but loved her just as much. Patricia was an awesome Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother. She will sadly be missed by all who knew her.
