Patricia Ann Brown

Patricia, or “Pat” as she preferred, was born on August 17, 1933 to Catherine Burke and Edward Gregory in Warren, Ohio.  The family moved to Los Angeles, California prior to WWII.  She attended Excelsior High School where she met the love of her life Clifton “Cliff” Brown and the many friends, that they remained close with their entire lives.Pat and Cliff married in 1952 and started a journey that took them to Auburn CA, Littleton CO, Stone Mountain GA, Orange County CA before retiring to Prescott AZ in 1994. Both Pat and Cliff enjoyed fixing up and decorating their many homes, several of which they built.   Pat was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She always put her family first, leaving a legacy of love, stories, silly songs and traditions. She could always be caught singing around the house.  Whether it was sewing, painting or cooking, she loved to teach what she knew to her children and anyone who wanted to learn. Pat loved hosting parties and holiday gatherings. She loved to travel whether it was to New Zealand or a day trip to Phoenix.  She loved the History of Rome and London, she was surprised that she loved Paris, and especially loved her trips traveling the US. Pat had a great sense of humor, had an opinion on everything and was always positive and helpful. She was a good friend to all.She is survived by her two children, Tammy and Michael, her grandchildren, Desirae,  Ashley, Vanessa and Taylor, her great-grandchildren, Marlee, Oliver, Zach and Austin, as well as her brother, Joseph, sister’s-in-law, Emma and Cookie, many nieces, nephews and her many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Cliff, brothers, Bob Walters and Gordon Gregory, her sister in law Joyce Gregory and brother-in-law Louis Murray.By her own words, she had a wonderful life and had no unfulfilled dreams.  She passed quickly and peacefully as she had hoped for.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
