Patricia McMillan Anderson, 73 of Prescott, AZ passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at her home
in Prescott, AZ.
Tricia was born April 4, 1946 in Whittier, CA to Donald and Marie McMillan. Tricia graduated from St.
Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs CA, and continued her education at the University Of San Diego
where she earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree from Cal State University San Bernardino.
She became a teacher and went on to become the head counselor at Apple Valley High School. After
retiring in 2005, Tricia and her husband Lee moved to Prescott, AZ. Throughout her life she enjoyed
playing bridge, golf, and cheering on her kids in sports and their successes. She shared a love of
aviation with her father. She never missed a golf tournament on tv and was rooting for Phil Mickelson,
wondering “what will he do next.”
Tricia is survived by her children: Sons, Brian Dunlap, of Eureka CA; Tim Dunlap, of Newnan GA;
daughters, Julie Fernstrom, of Chicago, IL; and Erin Dunlap, of Apple Valley, MN and her six cherished
grandchildren: Madeleine Dunlap; Trace Dunlap; Grace Dunlap; Abby Dunlap; Katie Ray Dunlap; and
Ollie Dunlap; her sister Jeannie Hughes and her husband Michael. She was preceded in death by his
father and mother, Don & Marie McMillan; her son Robert Donovan Dunlap Jr.
A Mass of Catholic Burial will be held 11AM Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Prescott, AZ, Fr. Ralph to celebrate the mass. Interment will be at Cave Creek National Cemetery in
Phoenix, AZ on Friday, March 6, 2020.
