Ora Yvonne Mcevoy

On June 13, 2021, Yvonne McEvoy went to be with her heavenly father after a long battle with COPD.  She went peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.  Yvonne was born in St. Jo, Texas.   Her family relocated to Arizona which is where she spent the rest of her life.  Upon graduating from Camp Verde High School, she went to visit her aunt and uncle in New Jersey where she met her husband, Michael.  After a whirlwind romance, they were married April 30, 1973 and spent 48 loving years together.  Yvonne always had an active mind and enjoyed gardening, family holidays, her dachshunds and was a voracious reader.  She was a devoted mother and wife to her two children and Mike and would do anything for them.  She had a gift for making everyone feel special.  Yvonne is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Aimee, son Mark and her loving sister Rebecca along with numerous nieces and nephews, who she loved.  We take comfort knowing her painful battle is over and she is now pain free and enjoying eternity.  Arrangements Entrusted to Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Homes and Crematory.
