Nancy “Joyce” Wiles
Born August 21, 1940, at home in Tyronza, Arkansas and went to be with Jesus in Prescott Valley, AZ on April 19, 2025. She accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior as a child in Arkansas and moved to AZ in 1957 where Joyce met the love of her life, Hobby, and they married in 1958.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Hobby, in 2020. She is survived by son Ricky and daughter in law, Joyce L Wiles, and daughter Theresa Wiles Walton. Four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Joyce lived her life with the gift of hospitality, serving others through working in the school cafeterias in Yuma, Arizona. She learned to bake “the best buns in AZ” for the Paradise Valley Baptist Conference Center in Prescott, AZ. She would take walks with her grandchildren and often would say “Let’s talk about it” and gave wonderful “telephone hugs” to her family.
Joyce was a member of Robert Road Baptist Church since 1992 where she taught children and ladies and helped her husband wherever needed. She was known to be a prayer warrior, and this was evident especially in the last years of her life with dementia.
Thank you to Maggie’s Hospice and their caring staff for the kindness and love shown to Joyce and the family….
In lieu of flowers please make donations to Maggie’s Hospice Prescott in memory of Joyce Wiles
