Morgan died Wednesday, December 8, 2004, at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born January 28, 1980, in Wheatland, Wyoming. Morgan was 24 years old. Morgan is survived by his parents, Annette and Richard Travis of Prescott Valley, Arizona; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel & Andrew Carroll of Prescott Valley, Arizona; nephew, William Charles Carroll of Prescott Valley, AZ; grandmothers, Carol Johnston of Prescott Valley, Arizona; and Clara Travis of Modesto, California; great grandmother, Anna Butt of Sierra Vista, Arizona; uncle, Mark Norton of Phoenix, Arizona; great uncle and Aunt, Wayne and Bonnie Butt of Sierra Vista, Arizona; and great aunt, Jane Butt of Glendale, Arizona. Morgan attended high school in Modesto, California. He moved to Prescott Valley with his parents in 1997. He had been active in little league baseball when he was younger. He had also been a model, as he was very photogenic, but his modeling career fell by the wayside overtaken by his love of skate boarding or dirt biking. His family fondly remembers that there was no jump too high for him to try; he knew no fear. He had a regular obstacle course on his daily ride to and from school, filled with jumps, dips and raises. He enjoyed heavy metal rock music. He was a loving, big brother to Rachel, but he only got one chance to have her being his guinea pig for one of his stunts.
