Minnie Pauline Schade

Minnie Pauline Schade (Peterson), 97, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014 in the caring, loving arms of her daughter Susan in Prescott, AZ and was reunited with her husband Lou on their 80th Wedding Anniversary. She was born Dec. 19, 1916 in Phoenix, AZ to George and Dorothy (Slankard) Peterson. She was one of the first families of Arizona and the daughter of one of the charter members of Grace Lutheran Church. She is survived by daughters Nancy Lou Hendershott of Parks, Az., Bonnie (William) Carter of Glendale, Az., Betty Ann Graham of Paulden, Az., Susan Jane (Jimme) Walker of Prescott, Az., sister Dorothy Kenson of Chandler, Az., 13 Grandchildren, 24 great Grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Louis M. Schade, daughter Helen F. Schade, grandson Wayde Hendershott and sister Collen Lopez, all of Arizona. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend and a good cook and seamstress. She will be missed.
