Milton O. "Pidge" Anderson, passed away February 25, 2005 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born May 28, 1919 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Hans O. and Esther (Pedersen) Anderson. Pidge was 85 years old. He proudly served as a Signalman during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Pidge retired after 31 years, as a power line foremen for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He and Helen moved to Prescott in 1980. He was a very active member of the VFW, American Legion, Citizens Tax Committee and the Smoki People. Pidge is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen, son William of Tucson, daughter, Cheryl of Prescott; sister-in-laws, Mary Lou of Victorville, CA and Dorothy of Lake Arrowhead, CA and nephew, Steven of Victorville. He was preceded in death by brothers, Kenneth and Byron. Pidge enjoyed watching football and was an avid fan of NASCAR. A Celebration of Pidge's life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez and Carleton Streets.
