Maryann H. Veltri

Maryann Veltri, 64, passed away on September 30, 2012, in Phoenix, AZ. She was born June of 1948 in Queens, NY and lived most of her life on Long Island before relocating to Prescott, AZ in 2002. Maryann graduated from St. John's University and Long Island University with degrees in medical technology and worked as a medical technologist and blood bank supervisor at Winthrop University Hospital in NY and Northern Arizona VA Healthcare Center in Prescott. She is survived by her husband, Frank, sons Lance from Long Beach, NY, and Brian (Shannon), grandsons Braeden and Callen, from Pleasant Hill, CA, brothers Jack (Donna) Trommer from Tampa, FL, and Robert (Claudia) Trommer from El Dorado Hills, CA, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents John (Mary) Trommer. The family suggests contributions be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 120 N Summit Ave, Prescott, AZ, 86301. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 4th at AZ Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St. with a Scripture Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fluery St., Prescott. Inurnment will take place 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6th at All Souls Cemetery, 700 N. Bill Gray Rd., Cottonwood, AZ.
