Virginia Pannkoke passed away on Jan. 4, 2015, in Prescott, Arizona. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1926 to Minnie and Ray Pringle. She attended St. Mary's School of Nursing in Tucson and was employed as a nurse for 10 years. She then became an insurance agent and insurance company underwriter. She worked and resided in Phoenix until retiring from the insurance business in 1990, at which time she moved to Prescott, Arizona. Virginia joined Yavapai Learning Institute (now Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) and facilitated sessions on many different topics. She began a 'Writing Your Life Story' class, which continued for 14 years. She encouraged many students to record their experiences for future reference for their children and grandchildren. During these classes, she made many friends. Her sister Susan Steger, also resides in Prescott. She has one daughter, three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
