Marilyn Rockwood Bechman March13, 1931 – April 12, 2013 Born March 13, 1931, to Thomas and Doris Sack in Schenectady, NY, Marilyn passed away April 12, 2013, after battling cancer. A Certified Professional Secretary and former Superior Court Deputy Clerk in Maricopa County, AZ, Marilyn was also an avid traveler and “outside” travel agent throughout the last 40 years of her life. Working through a Scottsdale travel agency, she specialized in group tours and cruises for a wide circle of friends and contacts. Her own travels included trips to many foreign countries, riding camels and elephants in Africa and Sri Lanka, and performing volunteer social work in several Eastern European and Southeast Asian countries to which her husband, Harold, had been posted for short, two-to –three month business assignments. She especially loved Mexico to which she and Harold often traveled in their RV and where she frequently became involved with local children and other charities. Marilyn is survived by her loving husband Harold and loving daughter Alana Johnson, stepsons Stuart (Jeanne) Bechman, Gary (Ruth Anne) Bechman, and Kevin (Francilyn) Bechman, brother Thurston (Louise) Sack, faithful sister-in-law Barbara (James) Sack, sister-in-law Virginia Bechman and beloved brother-in-law John (Joyce) D’Annibale, step-grandchildren Timothy Bechman, Benjamin Bechman, Brandon (Cheryl) Savage, Tamara Savage and Brenna Savage, and step-great-grandaughter Khloe Bechman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their spouses in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania and other locations. She is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce D’Annibale of Schenectady, NY; brother James Sack of San Diego, CA and daughter Janis Rockwood of Phoenix.
