Marie Margarete Lampert

Marie Margarete Bartolain Lampert, 96, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is survived by daughter, Claudette Blair (Michael), grandson Jonathan and son, David (Lindy Gomez). She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, of 59 years.





She was born and raised in Chicago and spent numerous summers on her grandfather’s farm in Michigan. She and her husband sold their drugstore in Park Ridge, Illinois, and in 1980 moved to Arizona leaving behind cold weather and a well used reliable snowblower. In her journey into adulthood and parenting she cultivated numerous interests including craft hat making, wood carving, hobbyist aviator, camping, traveling and cooking/entertaining for family & friends Her work history was also varied and included bookkeeper, drug store owner/apprentice pharmacist/cosmetician and bank greeter. Her passing has left a void in our hearts. Her laugh and headstrong demeanor have been ingrained into our memories and will be lovingly missed. A life well lived from a one of a kind generation.



There will be no service and she will be buried in Chicago at a later date. If you desire, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
