Marguerite Nadyne Bork, died March 28, 2006 at Samaritan Care Center in Prescott, Arizona. She was born July 11, 1912, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of George B. and Mildred M. (Hill) Butts. Nadyne was 93 years old. Nadyne met the love of her life, Bill in the Spanish Club at the University of Arizona, where they both graduated in 1935, she with a bachelor?s, Bill with a master?s. Nadyne earned her master?s from Southern Illinois University. She taught high school at the Pan American Workshop in Mexico City and Southern Illinois University High School in Carbondale, Illinois. Nadyne was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, American Association of University Women, the Alumni Associations of both the University of Arizona and Southern Illinois University, Episcopal Church Women, and the Smoki People, for which she was Chieftess ?Sotunanagu? in 1995 and 1996. Nadyne enjoyed traveling, singing in the church choir, knitting, reading, cooking, and spending time with her many, many friends worldwide. She was devoted to her family especially Bill. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on April 14. Nadyne is survived by her husband of 69+ years, William Bork, her daughter JoAnne Craig, sons Albert (Kathy) and David Bork, grandchildren Kathleen (Russ) Craig, Stephen (Sandy) Craig, Tim Craig, Adam Bork; great, grandson Joe Donato, great-granddaughters Natalie and Julie Craig, great, great-grandchildren Zachary, Izabella and Sophia Donato Celebration of Nadyne?s life will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, at St. Luke?s Episcopal Church, 2000 Shepherds Lane.
