Lyle J. Stearns

Lyle J. Stearns died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Arizona Heart Hospital in Phoenix, AZ.  He was born February 9, 1932 in Morrisville, VT., the son of Roland and Florence (Wells) Stearns.  Lyle was 74 years old. Lyle married Eunice Sargent on December 31, 1955.  He started out serving his county in the U.S. Army but retired from the Navy in the electronics field.  Two years ago, Lyle and Eunice moved to Prescott Valley, AZ.  Lyle was a member of the Disable American Veterans.  He loved hunting, fishing and cars but especially loved his military service and grandchildren. Lyle is survived by his loving and caring wfe, Eunice.  Sons; Larry (Christena) Stearns of Westford, VT.,  Alan (Kathleen) Stearns of Richmond, VT., Brian (Sandy) Steans of Stowe, VT., and Jerry (Tammi) Stearns of Rutland, VT. Brothers, Wayne Stearns of Lebaon, NM., Melvin (Ginne) Stearns of Augusta, GA., and Phillip Stearns of New Hampshire. Sister, Marilyn (Richard) MacArthur of Wolcott, VT. Grandchildren; Jennifer, Christopher, Patrick, Katie and Brian. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent in Lyle's name to Prescott Valley Rescue Squard or the Disabled American Veterans.
