Louis N. Lacy, of Prescott, died April 1, 2005. Born in Stoughton, Wisconsin to Arthur J. and Jane (Gorman) Lacy on Dec 19, 1923. Louie served in the US Navy beginning December, 1942. He proudly served as a deep sea diver on submarine rescue vessel the USS Chewink and was discharged with rank of First Class Petty Officer in March, 1946. Louis married Marie Mason on April 10, 1948. He was employed by Wisconsin Bell for 26 years and for 10 years with Mountain Bell. As an active member of the Telephone Pioneers, Louie enjoyed repairing talking books at the Prescott Public Library. Louis was a wonderful husband and father, survived by his wife, Marie, of Prescott, sisters Dorothy of Stoughton, WI and Mary Thompson of McFarland, WI, daughters Kathryn (Richard) Emerich of Grafton, WI., Patricia Little of Prescott, Jane Halverson of Grand Canyon, Ruth of Prescott, and son James of Mesa, seven grandchildren Elizabeth Maillet, Jacqueline Diumenti, Kimberly Emerich, Jennifer and Jeffrey Little, Keegan and Collin Lacy, sister-in-law Sally Mason and several nieces and nephews.
