Louis E. Taney

Louis E. Taney joined his wife Marie, who died just 8 days before him, on November 19, 2008 at Granite Gate Senoir Living. He was 91 years old. Louis was born May 26, 1917 in Manhattan, New York, the son of Joey & Albina Taney. Louis served his Country proudly in the United States Army and then worked as an Engineer for Aerospace before retiring. He was a resident of Arizona for 40 years and of Yavapai County for eight. Louis was an avid reader no matter what the novel and enjoyed music, art, and being a resteraunt owner. He was proudest of his cooking and the love he and his wife shared. Together now in heaven, she longed for him, he heard her call and joined his sweetheart in heaven. Louis is survived by his loving daughter- Marilyn Dow of Prescott, AZ; brother- Alfred Tambini of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren- Pamela, Michaeljohn, Harlan, & Mareike.
